In the spring, I had a fun special, the “golden hour mini-shoots.” During that period, you could schedule a Golden Hour photo shoot for a small price at Domein Drie Fonteinen in Vilvoorde. Margaux had booked her maternity shoot when she was heavily pregnant. Fortunately, her baby son stayed in her belly just long enough to make the shoot a success.
Margaux came to my studio, where she could put on her pre-chosen dress at her leisure. Then we went on foot to Domain 3 Fountains (because yes, that beautiful domain is really within walking distance from my studio). The location was therefore a very big plus for Margaux, she says, “The atmosphere and beautiful framing at the location chosen by Joke during the sunset were my favorite part of the photo shoot.”
When I ask her about tips for future clients of mine, she replies, “Just arrive rested and relaxed, ready to enjoy the shoot!”. Arriving relaxed is not always easy, because often my clients suffer from some stress. Margaux says, “I was a bit worried that posing with a heavily pregnant belly (and rather swollen legs) would be a bit uncomfortable. Joke helped me very much by giving me tips of poses, adjusting and putting me completely at ease!”.
I thoroughly enjoyed the maternity shoot & of course am happy to share some of the results!
What a fine photo shoot! The appointment was smoothly arranged and I was able to use a dress from Pure Life Photography. During the photo shoot, Joke helped me pose and the location she picked was top notch, with time aligned with the sunset for the most beautiful light. It was fun, I got the photos soon after our shoot and the results were super!
