Remember that white week in February? When it was snowing so beautifully? I really couldn’t resist posting a call on my Social media looking for some pregnant ladies for a fun maternity photo shoot in the snow. I never expected to get much response, but I ended up photographing not 1 but 6 ladies in the snow! What heroes all, because it was freezing cold!
1 of these ladies was Lynn. During the shoot, she was 30 weeks pregnant & it was not a fine course for her to be pregnant. An extra reason to not only try to enjoy the pregnancy to the fullest, but to have it captured. Because getting & being pregnant just isn’t a given, and Lynn can talk about that …
When I ask Lynn what her favorite moment was during the photo shoot, she replies, “I loved being able and allowed to wear such beautiful dresses. You immediately feel beautiful and it gives a very nice atmosphere. The opportunity for a shoot in the snow was also very unique. There is not so often snow in Belgium. “.
A very good tip for prospective parents who have a photo shoot planned, she has too! “Check the dresses in advance so you already know a little bit which ones you like and then you can also adjust your accessories accordingly. But above all: enjoy and be yourself!”, I couldn’t say it better ;-)!
She fortunately had no stress before the photo shoot because, “first of all, you (Joke) immediately put me at ease and secondly, I wanted to fully enjoy this unique experience,” she says! Oh always so nice to hear!
I thoroughly enjoyed the maternity shoot & of course am happy to share some of the results!
